Brian Epstein

Brian Epstein, a music entrepreneur, not a film director, was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom in 1934. Epstein is best known for managing the Beatles, arguably the most influential band in the history of popular music, from 1962 until his untimely death in 1967. While he wasn't involved in filmmaking per se, his work helped inspire numerous films, documentaries, and biopics about the Beatles, and his influence on pop culture was recognized with a posthumous induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. Brian Epstein, in essence, was a visionary who saw the potential in a young, scruffy band from Liverpool and helped them change the world with their music.
