Jae Harm

Jae Harm, the master of Korean New Wave cinema, was born in Busan, South Korea in 1960. Active from the mid-1980s until today, Harm's oeuvre mostly includes dramas and thrillers, with his most famous films being "The Sea Inside" and "The Unseen", both of which have won numerous awards at Asian film festivals. His authorial style is marked by a penchant for deep character exploration, often set against the backdrop of South Korea's complex socio-political landscape.
